The invention of the internet.

-The internet is one of the most influential and ground breaking inventions of the last century. It has become a significant part of our lives, and our lives would be very different without it. However, not everyone is happy to introduce the internet into their lives so intensely.

The usage of the internet has a lot of advantages. It allows us an easy access to an unlimited source of information, making it a remarkable and extremely helpful tool of education. It also allows a modern way of communication, which enables us to communicate with people from around the world very rapidly and inexpensively via E-mail and chatrooms.

However, the fact that the internet is so easily accessible arises some disadvantages as well. The internet can be very dangerous for small children. It contains a lot of pornographic and violent material, that is not appropriate for them to be exposed to. Moreover, the usage of the internet can be very addictive. There are a lot of people, mainly teenagers, that are addicted to this exciting invention. They spend most of their time sitting in front of the computer, instead of doing physical activities, and thereby they damage their health .

To conclude, there is no doubt that the invention of the internet has Made our lives much more convenient. In spite of that, it also poses a threat to young children, and causes some people to do less physical activities. I believe that the advantages of this invention outweigh the risks, since it has changed our lives in so many ways. Despite this, I do believe that actions should be taken to lower the risks. For instance, the internet sites with adult material should be made harder to access, so that children will not be exposed to them.
